DBP (Dallow Business Partnership) was established in 2003 as a local business initiative and forum.

DBP aims:-

  • to respond to needs that contribute to economic and social regeneration
  • to give a platform for cross sector engagement in economic and social regeneration activities, services, forums etc.
  • to work with a range of partners whose various services include – learning & skills, pre-entry learning, IAG Careers & employment guidance, business/social enterprise advice, advice & information services,Womens/ youth activities, community development

DBP became a not for profit company limited by guarantee in 2008 and have an experienced board of trustees active in local enterprise, learning and community organisations.

  • networking with cross sector organisations, particularly focussing on community and voluntary sector
  • we work in partnership to support activities that help overcome barriers/inequalities arising from social & economic disadvantage, promote positive experiences, lifestyles, upskilling, and building capacity

DBP has been successful in having funding granted by YourSayYourWay funders in Luton for new DBP Fitness and wellbeing project for children and families in Hockwell Community Centre – watch this space for further updates.

Latest funding from Near Neighbours has facilitated work in Hockwell Ring and funding from Awards for All has provided for another CMI L 3 accredited course in Neighbourhood Management.
